TV/Film Discussion: During class, we had a discussion about how technology affects how we view the world around us. Our main discussion for this was the moon Landing with Armstrong. While most of us viewed the moon landing to be real, some in the class believed it to be fake. One of the point was the American flag itself. How could the flag look to be in movement even though there is no air on the moon? For this, I found that the flag had metal wires within the frame so that they could make the flag look like it was in movement. In addition, the video never shows the flag really moving, just the shape of movement. This goes back to Futurism due to how people made their subjects looking like they had some movement.
