During our class, our teacher had us explore around campus in hopes of finding news stories. This activity reflects how newspapers back in the day got their stories without the internet. While my group and I were exploring the campus, we found a lady feeding the cats. After discussing it with the lady, we found out that she was a professor at the school. The professor told us that she was trying to get together a club to help with the stray cats on campus. She was hoping that by getting a group together on campus, they could make sure that the cats could be fed over long periods of breaks. She also informed us of her steps in trying to get the cats ready for a possible foster home. The cats have already been taken to get shots and treatments. All there is left to do is see if the cats are mentally ready for the move.
